Are there priority conditions for becoming a member or an affiliated member of the WSPCM?
Yes. Adherence to the World Health Charter is required, which also implies an ethical position opposing abortion, euthanasia, and assisted suicide, and a commitment to the right to health for every person.
How can I become an affiliated member of WSPCM?
You must send the completed application form, which is available on the Membership page, to the Secretariat.
Do I need an MD degree?
No. You may join as a health professional or as a supporter.
Do I have to pay an annual membership fee to be an affiliated member? Yes — an annual fee of €10 is required; it will be requested after your application has been accepted and participation in seminars and congresses organized or promoted by the WSPCM
How can I become a voting member of the WSPCM?
You must hold a degree in Person‑Centered Medicine obtained from the international Person‑Centered Medicine program promoted by the Medical School of Milan at Università Ambrosiana, or—if you are Italian or hold Italian nationality—from the Medical School of Milan after completing the Master in Person‑Centered Medicine and/or Medical Counselling.
I hold a Master’s in Clinical Adolescentology, obtained at Università Ambrosiana; can I register? Yes — but you must publish, before registering, a clinical report in The Person‑Centered Medicine International Journal or in Medicine, Mind and Adolescence.
If I hold a Master’s in Clinical Psychoneuroimmunology from Università Ambrosiana, can I register? Yes — but you must publish, before registering, a clinical report in The Person‑Centered Medicine International Journal or in Medicine, Mind and Adolescence.
Do I have to pay an annual membership fee to be a member of the WSPCM?
No — however, you must publish at least one paper every two years in The Person‑Centered Medicine International Journal and participate in seminars and congresses organized or promoted by the WSPCM.
What happens when I become a member or an affiliated member of the WSPCM? The member or affiliated member becomes part of the national delegation.
